Beat Bug® v2.1 UPGRADE INSTRUCTIONS

 This kit contains: (1)circuit board, (1)knob, (1)Allen wrench, (2)screws, (2)AAA batteries, (1)hook & loop, (1)label, (1)sticker, (2)instructions.

      You will need: a #1 Phillips screwdriver, pliers and tape.

DISASSEMBLY

1.     Unscrew your old knobs. If they won’t twist off, tightly squeeze enclosure at each knob and sharply snap/break them off.

2.     Remove four enclosure screws with a #1 Phillips screwdriver.

3.     Remove all nuts and washers from top and bottom panels with pliers.

4.     Save a nut and lock washer from an adjustment pot.

ASSEMBLY

     Remember: Never force fit anything.

1.     Install saved lock washer onto pot of new circuit board and mate with top panel, smooth side in. Holes may need to be elongated slightly.

2.     Screw nut onto pot finger-tight.

3.     Mate circuit board to enclosure front (Elongate window if needed.) and attach at both sides of battery holder with supplied screws. Do not over-tighten screws.

4.     Pull red ribbon across battery holder and install the AAA batteries over ribbon, observing polarity.

5.     Tape over two holes on smooth side of bottom panel and reassemble enclosure. Do not over-tighten screws.

6.     Gently but firmly tighten pot nut with pliers. DO NOT OVER-TIGHTEN OR YOU’LL DESTROY THE POT.

7.     With pot adjusted fully clockwise(CW) and white line where you’d like to see it at maximum sensitivity, tighten knob onto pot shaft using supplied Allen wrench.

8.     Replace old label with new gold BEAT BUG ^(TM) label.

DONE!

Wash your hands with warm water and soap. Read operating instructions.
